B R A N D B U I L D I N G

Nice to meet you, I'm Zach Duenow, the founder of Muze. Here's me:
I was raised by two wild-minded artists, grew up as a performer, trained as a sociologist, and fell in love with building brands.
For more than thirty years I’ve worked with some of the world’s most respected organizations helping leaders uncover the stories that inspire people, shape culture, and drive growth.
Along the way I’ve been a touring punk-rap musician sharing a label mark with Bootsy Collins, a travel writer who drove the Pan American Highway, a mental health circuit speaker and township mental health board member, a prison poetry teacher who published the first collection of inmate poems rendered with their AI prompted imagery, a 12-step recovery group founder, a children’s poet and illustrator, and an occasional Santa Claus.
At first glance those pursuits seem haywire.
But to me they’ve always felt like the same job.
Whether I’m helping a global brand find its next chapter or helping someone rebuild their life after trauma or addiction, I’m ultimately interested in one thing: how human beings change.
Today I lead Muze; we help organizations build stronger brands, stronger cultures, and stronger leaders. My starting place for any work is grounded in gratitude, fueled by curiosity, and sustained by humility.
